We started chatting with a person at a photographers booth at a bridal show. Both my partner and I loved the unique style of the photographs. As we spoke, we realised we were talking to the photographer himself! Matt is absolutely lovely! Kind, down-to-earth, and up for anything. We first did our engagement shoot with him. We hired a black cab and went all over central London. He captured some amazing shots.

He also covered our rehearsal dinner and finally our wedding. We were blown away by his photos! Matt was super efficient from start to end. He met with us on 3 occasions either in person or on zoom to ensure he understand our requirements. As the wedding was in London, we wanted the photos to show we were in London without the usual tourist haunts. Matt and Ian were able to find multiple shots a stones throw from our venue and has really captured our special day with some fantastic photos with London in the background. Despite travelling over to Bristol at 2am so that they could shoot our wedding (because of another job), they were still bright, friendly, and professional, and directed us and our guests with courtesy and good humour, this is despite them no doubt being super tired!

If you find it a bit awkward to 'pose' (like me and my husband) they offered direction on how and where to stand, plus made it natural.

You are provided with an online portfolio of the pictures, meaning it's your choice on how you want to treasure the memories.

From the moment we met Matt he made us very comfortable and could tell from the consultation he has a wealth of experience. Choosing the right photographer was one of the things we were most anxious about for our wedding, knowing that these would be the lasting memory of the day. When we spoke with Matt, we were immediately put at ease and felt he really took time to understand us as a couple, what our wedding was all about and what we were looking for. We want to say a massive THANK YOU to Matt and his assistant colleague Leo for amazing photos from our special day. He really captured the essence and feel of our wedding in his photos and his attention to detail was impeccable, it really was faultless.

The one thing we was worried about while planning our wedding was finding a photographer that we felt comfortable with. His calming and funny personality he has made us feel really relaxed and at ease , he made us feel really special.

All our guests loved Matt and Leo (a couple of bridesmaids in particular) and commented how effortless they were at taking the photos, and how hard they worked during the day and evening to make everyone feel at ease, almost as though they wasn’t there. We first met Matt at the Fieldgood WedFest wedding fair in Bath. We then loved his portfolio’s and his passion for photography all the photos really stood out, but at the time we were struggling to find our perfect venue to have our reception. My Wife & I got engaged in 2017 & we had both agreed on a long engagement so as we can prepare & plan our big day together. With SO much to consider, planning was very stressful but also very exciting!

The 1st thing we wanted was to book our photographer so we attended the 1st of many wedding fayres to come! We honestly couldn’t of asked for a better wedding photographer ! Even now when we look back at our pictures, we can’t believe how much of an amazing  job Matt did. He managed to capture all those precious moments without you even noticing. He’s presence was almost unnoticeable and not over powering at all. After booking Matt at a wedding fair I went home and looked him up on Instagram and Facebook! I knew I’d made the right choice and already couldn’t wait to see the photos he had yet to take of our wedding! If you are looking for the best photographer ever then look no further! I knew finding a photographer was going to be a hard job what with my now-husband Jas being completely against having his photo taken at all! But when meeting Matt at a wedding fair I knew he was ‘the one.’  Working in the wedding industry myself I know there is so much out there but Matt most definitely stands out from the rest. We loved having Matt as part of our wedding day. We were considering not having a photographer but we are so glad we did! From our initial meeting over a coffee through to the wedding itself, Matt helped us through the wedding process. We had Matt at Creating Diamonds shoot our wedding day and I cannot express enough how pleased we were. He met up with us before hand for a very In depth consultation and by the time he left he felt like a friend so we felt very comfortable about him shooting our day! He turnt up at the arranged time on the morning for the bridal preparation and continued to shoot all through till after the first dance. We also used him for a photo booth which all the guests loved and enjoyed using the props matt supplied! He was very professional from the moment we came across his services and throughout the day organised all the photos so we didn’t have to worry about that side of things. From 9:00am to 9:00pm Matt was shooting non stop, from capturing me playing with my son outside the registry office too our first dance of the evening. We engaged the services of Creating Diamonds for our son’s wedding in June 2015 and we were so pleased with this decision. Never before have we seen a photographer at a wedding work so hard for so long and provide so much. Our son and his new wife were absolutely delighted with the results.

We first met with Matt, at the wedding venue, about 10 days before the wedding, although we had spoken with him on the phone a few weeks prior to that, and found him to be personable and professional. The bride and groom clearly ‘clicked’ with Matt from the outset and it was evident that he would work well with them on the day, which he did. We initially agreed with Matt on an eight-hour package; with Matt being present on the day from about 1:00 p.m. In the event, he arrived well before midday and, apart from taking 10 minutes out for his own lunch during the reception, Matt worked right through until after 10:00 p.m. So many of the guests commented on how hard the photographer was working and that he was “such a nice guy”.

Matt’s approach to wedding photography is all about telling the ‘story’ of the day. The images produced included the expected, formal, shots – e.g. Bride and groom, bride and groom with bridesmaids, bride and groom with parents/siblings/grandparents etc – but many of the other shots were quite informal, with the photographer being unobtrusive, and those, in particular, truly portrayed the character of individuals and the essence of the whole day.

Without hesitation, we recommend Creating Diamonds to anyone who wants to really capture the memories of their special day.
